The sampling design across nine locations is appropriate and the micronutrient assays are well documented. I’d like the compositing procedure in Section 2.2 clarified — it isn’t clear whether sub-samples were pooled per plot or per farm. Otherwise ready for publication with minor polish.

Solid contribution with clear practical relevance for extension planning. Please expand the discussion of zinc and boron variability relative to soil pH in Section 4 — it’s mentioned only in passing despite being one of the more interesting findings.
