BEFORE YOU SUBMIT
A quick checklist.
- The manuscript is original and not under review anywhere else
- All listed authors have approved the submission
- The manuscript fits the aims & scope of the journal you’re submitting to
- Any conflicts of interest are disclosed
- Figures, tables, and references are complete and correctly cited
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
General formatting.
File format
Submit as an editable Word document (.doc/.docx) rather than a PDF, so the editorial team can work with the file directly during review.
Structure
Title, author list & affiliations, abstract, keywords, main text (introduction through discussion/conclusion), acknowledgements, references, and any tables or figures.
Abstract
A single paragraph summarizing the problem, approach, and findings — this is what readers see for free, so it should stand on its own.
JOURNAL-SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS
Citation style, submission addresses, and fees vary by journal.
